The patches have been used with revision 4825 of ns-3-dev, though they should also work other versions. All of the patches address some issue with wifi, by changing its configuration and/or behavior in a way which it was not possible using conventional methods such as the ns3 attribute system.

• patch to use wifi with short preamble instead of long preamble
• patch for sending ACKs always at the DATA rate
• patch to modify the minimum and maximum values of the Contention Window
