The IP Technologies Area is the research unit of CTTC working on the design and performance analysis (both theoretical and experimental) of mechanisms for self-organization, mobility, resource management, quality of service and performance monitoring integrating wired and wireless networks with diverse characteristics. Particularly important is the development of testbeds including all the above concepts, which will allow the transfer of knowledge from research to industry.
The activities of the IP Technologies Area to attain its goal are represented in the following figures.
