IP Technologies Area
From Iptechwiki
Overview
The research activities of the IP Technologies Area are especially focused on the definition and optimization of algorithms and protocols for:
- IP networking
- cellular networks
- wireless mesh networks
- mobility and radio resource management
- network dimensioning
The approach to the research is mainly experimental.
Particular emphasis is then given to:
- protocol analysis
- system monitoring
- wireless/wired measurements
- network performance analysis & evaluation
Our activities are organized in three research lines:
- L1: Mobile Communications for Next Generation Networks
- L2: Self Organized Wireless Network
- L3: Novel Techniques for Network Performance Assessment
For activities more targeting testbed development and experimental prove of concepts, please visit this page.
